About this song
The Air from Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3. It got the name "Air on the G String" when it was later arranged to be played on the violin's G string alone. It has been used in many films, such as "Se7en", and adverts. Very slow, but its rhythms are delicate, so it is rated hard. Both halves are here with their repeats, just as written.
Practice tips
The first B lasts more than a bar. Take a full breath and keep the sound from fading.
Skip the 32nd notes in bar 5 at first and play only the main notes; add them once it feels easy.
The F in bar 3 has a natural sign: three left-hand fingers plus the right index finger.
